The members of the Optiweb team are springing up like mushrooms. Since our numbers are growing (almost) in proportion with new projects, moving into bigger offices was only a matter of time.
However, moving such a large crowd is no piece of cake and not everything always goes according to plan. Only one day before the grand opening of the offices, we barely managed to avoid a “water” disaster, we were working out the last details just minutes before the opening celebration and, during the move, we lost some brave keyboards, headphones and computer mice. But it all worked out just fine! At the end, when we got to see the new office space, we – as well as our visitors – simply fell in love with them. And the love is still strong. ;)
99.99% of Optiweb members will agree that the best place to hang around, brainstorm, eat lunch and drink a cup of delicious coffee is our kitchen. There, you can always find something to nibble, be it fresh fruit or something sweet to get your energy levels up and running again. Additional benefits of our kitchen lie in all its little places – from comfortable sofas overlooking the beautiful town of Škofja Loka to tables and chairs which are usually overcrowded with chatty coworkers, conjuring up new ideas. Besides, all great ideas are forged over good coffee, aren’t they? ;)
We are also very proud of our work space, where you can find long rows of desks, with each team filling their own corner of the office. Perhaps in order to separate the (allegedly loudest) marketing department from the quieter development teams. Around the office space you can also find smaller, sound-proof rooms where we can carry out our phone call meetings or simply have a heated debate over where we’re going to lunch that day.
A sight for sore eyes is also our conference room with large windows and comfy gaming chairs that offers a bright and relaxing place where we can hold our important meetings and welcome our clients.
If we haven’t made it extremely clear already – we have amazing new offices, which we’re extremely proud of. The pleasant environment also has a positive influence on our motivation and productivity and makes sure we are constantly connected – especially now that there’s over 50 of us!
Of course, we can’t take all the credit, so we would like to give a warm thank you to everyone who was involved with the process of creating our colorful office space:
