Project Manager

My story

I entered the world of marketing when I was only 18 years old, acting in commercials, boosting FMCG sales and promoting various products. This made me fall in love with agency work and after finishing my studies in Utrecht, the Netherlands, started working as a project manager in an event marketing agency. Later, I also joined one of the biggest Slovenian creative agencies, where I again worked as a project manager, being in charge of bigger clients. During the corona crisis, which has brought digitalisation to a whole new level, I decided to focus on digital marketing. As I wanted to be a part of the best team in this field, switching jobs and coming to Optiweb seemed like an ideal step.

If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. Everything is possible.

What does your perfect working day look like?

I get up at 4.45. Training, breakfast, shower. Then I go through my work plan and check my inbox. I set my priorities for the day and tackle them first (eat the frog). After this, I continue with my other tasks and ask myself what comes next, what I can already do now or what I can improve. I usually spend my afternoons playing with my daughter or exploring unknown places. Sunshine, nature and exercise – that’s it!

Describe yourself in 3 words!

Supportive. Passionate. Organised.

What would you do if you weren't a PM?

I would manage other projects! Like my own restaurant. Or gym, maybe a spa. A tourist resort would be a good idea, too. Well, anything, really, that has to do with cuisine, well-being or travelling. I would also develop websites or apps for travellers. Or be in charge of different educational trails for kids. Bottomline: I would still manage projects. That’s my true passion.
