My story

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about searching for great business opportunities. As you can imagine, my parents weren’t always happy about my early entrepreneurial endeavours. :) When I was in primary school, I was selling mini LED lanterns, earning 50 cents with each one I sold. And later, during my secondary school years, I bought 100 litres of honey that I intended to sell in smaller jars to double its price. However, one roundabout was all it took for the honey to spill all over the car and bury my dream. :) As a student at the Faculty of Sports and The School of Economics and Business in Ljubljana, I organised LEGO workshops with a weekly attendance of more than 350 children. Together with my friends, I even launched a startup. And now? I am pumped to hone my business skills as part of the growing Optiweb family.

Fun facts

#1Čokolino (instant wheat flakes with chocolate for kids) isn’t just for small children. I prefer it with cold milk. ;)
#2As a student I was also a judo and swimming coach.

How do you handle big challenges in life?

I strongly believe that a clearly defined problem shows a clear path towards a solution. If you can’t figure things out on your own, go and ask around. And when you get the answers, ask yourself what else you can do.

What convinced you to join Optiweb?

When I met Miha for the first time, I immediately felt his extremely positive energy. He is well-aware of the fact that his company can only prosper if all of his employees are happy and successful. This is why we remain flexible, continuously improving our workflows and even applying some rules from the startup world – despite our size. I was blown away by Optiweb’s vision for 2030, but at the same time, I am convinced that such a positive, close-knit and hard-working team has got what it takes to turn this vision into reality.

What makes you happy?

I am at my happiest when I’m surrounded by good friends, enjoying the great outdoors, especially endless views somewhere in the mountains. I also love fresh coffee from the camping stove or staying somewhere near a lake or a river, preparing a delicious campfire dinner, listening to the sounds of a guitar and admiring the night sky.

What will you appreciate most about me when we meet for the first time?

What I appreciate most in people – in business and private conversations alike – are honesty and a down-to-earth attitude, but also with just the right amount of spontaneity and courage. I admire people who have a clear vision and know exactly how to achieve their goals. If your goals have to do with digitalisation, get in touch with us – I’m sure we can make it together!
