Ever since I can remember, I’ve been a massive fan of computer games. And I mean it: my gaming passion was ignited when I first used the Commodore 64. To be honest, this passion turned into love a bit later, when I got my very own computer – although without the Turbo button. Since I loved playing games, I soon also became a fan of testing them, which enabled me to try out the newest titles before their public release. I later started testing anything but games, but hey, at least I earned some money this way. This was also the start of my professional testing career, which I am grateful for as it led me to Optiweb.

One visit to the company site was enough. Seeing the happy faces on the front page and discovering all the interesting facts about the company really got me hooked. Since I saw people drinking coffee in many photos, I had a really good feeling about the job. And I was right as working at Optiweb hasn’t just met my expectations but exceeded them.
What are your favourite ways to spend time off?
Depends on the time I have at my disposal. Less than 30 minutes? I turn on my PlayStation 5. More than 30 minutes? Running. Except if I have sore muscles – then I opt for the PlayStation. I also try to devote more time to my newest passion: mountains …
Which are your favourite games?
For nostalgic reasons, the list wouldn’t be complete without The Neverhood and Grim Fandango. I am also a big fan of Hidetake Miyazaki’s masterpieces, from Dark Souls to Elden Ring, which is one of my favourites.
Which music style suits you best?
I listen to more and more metalcore, which – rather surprisingly – has a relaxing effect on me. However, I am not picky about the style if the music itself is good.
