Status is a Metlika-based family business that has been creating innovative gadgets for your home for over 20 years. The company takes care of the entire cycle of the product – from the idea, the planning phase and creating the tools to marketing, sales and customer support after the purchase.

Implementation of various discounts

With their new website, we’ve enabled the Status’ team to create even more creative discounts, since we’ve completely customized 8 different types of discounts, for example in the form of monetary discounts, percentage discounts, creating product sets, the possibility of adding gifts based on the content of the cart, etc.

Status’ team can even set up these discounts with a special timer for when the discount needs to start outside the business hours of their team.

Website page speed

When developing the online shop, one of the main requests of our client was to own a fast website. Throughout our development phase we therefore optimized the processes and scripts on the website. We also optimized the multilingual aspect of the shop by cloning it. The result? One of the fastest WooCommerce online shops (the result on Google PageSpeed Insights for the Desktop version revolves around 85 points).

Emphasis on SEO optimization

An important part of the new online shop was also taking care of SEO optimization. We therefore made quite a couple of adjustments when it came to the technical part of SEO. One of them was that, in cooperation with the Status’ team, we added quite a large chunk of relevant text to every category page, which has yielded some great results, which are presented below.

Optimized purchasing process

Status’ new eCommerce shop can also boast with an optimized purchasing process in the cart with a one-step checkout. The users can make a purchase in only one step – by filling their personal information and choosing the delivery and payment methods.

Customized content on the website

The blog on the website is customized according to the client’s wishes. Every blog post (which is also used for bringing traffic to the website through social media) offers the possibility of presenting individual products, which lets the user step into the online shop with the help of useful content.

Where can we find the best results?

Below, you can take a look at a couple of our best numbers – the timeframe we took for comparison was the period between 3rd April and 10th July (2019 vs. 2018).

  • The revenue generated by organic traffic increased by 187.96%.
  • The bounce rate (the percentage of people who left the website after seeing only the first landing page) on desktop decreased for 63.22% and on mobile for 73.58%.
  • The revenue through mobile phones increased by 109.29%.
